Reliance Jio has announced new benefits on select prepaid recharge plans before the upcoming cricket season in India. Existing and new Jio customers can recharge with Rs 299 or more to get free access to JioHotstar for 90 days. In addition to this, they will also get a 50-day free trial of Jio AirFiber or JioFiber. This includes unlimited Wi-Fi, 800+ OTT channels, and more than 11 OTT apps. Users can also enjoy the content in 4K on their mobile phones and TVs.
The Rs 299 plan offers unlimited calls, 1.5 GB of data, and 100 SMS per day. It also includes access to Jio apps such as JioCloud and JioTV. If you are a new user, you can get a Jio SIM with this plan or a higher one to enjoy the same benefits. Those who want unlimited 5G internet can recharge with plans that offer 2GB of data per day or more.
The offer is valid from March 17 to March 31. Users who recharged before March 17 and still have an active plan can get an RS 100 pack to access similar benefits. These plans have been announced before the IPL, which starts on March 22. As per the company, the free JioHotstar subscription will begin on the first day of the IPL and will last for 90 days.
Jio also has other prepaid plans that include a free subscription to the streaming service. Customers can recharge with Rs 100, Rs 195, or Rs 949 to get similar benefits.
