Apple has unveiled Apple Invites, an app created to make event plans and coordination easier for iPhone users.
It lets users make custom invitations, share event details, track RSVPs, and collaborate on shared albums and Apple Music playlists. Users can download Apple Invites from the App Store, or access it on the web. This is only for iCloud+ subscribers to create events, however, anyone can RSVP, even if they don’t use Apple devices.
“With Apple Invites, an event comes to life from the moment the invitation is created, and users can share lasting memories even after they get together,” said Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud. “Apple Invites brings together capabilities our users already know and love across iPhone, iCloud, and Apple Music, making it easy to plan special events.”
The app offers a personalized experience, it allows users to choose an image from their photo library or a curated gallery to personalize invitations.
Guests can view event details, get directions through Apple Maps, and see real-time weather updates, making it easier to plan in advance.
With Apple Intelligence, creating unique event invitations is easy. Users can tap into the built-in Image Playground experience to produce original images using concepts, descriptions, and people from their photo library, as per the newsroom post.
Users can also use Writing Tools to craft the right turn of phrase to meet the moment.
It allows complete control to hosts of their invite experience. They can easily view and manage their events, send invitations with a link, review RSVPs, and choose the details they want to be included in the preview, such as the event background or a home address.
Without an Apple Account or iCloud+ subscription, guests can view and reply to an invitation online or through the new iPhone app.
