Mortal Kombat has been one of the most played and most popular video games of all time. First launched in 1992, this American fighting game has been a part of almost all our lives as many of us have played the game at least once in our lifetimes.

One of the most interesting new features in Mortal Kombat 1 is the ability to call upon one of many different fighters, both old and new ones, to assist you during battle.
As explained by IGN, Kameo characters are selected right after you pick a character to play before loading into a match. They’re only meant to temporarily aid you in battle, and once they’ve landed a hit, they’ll quickly run away.
