It’s now available as an open beta on the Google Play Store, following the developers’ tease of an Android version back in August.
Like its iOS version, Arc Search for Android comes with a web ad blocker that removes ads as well as trackers, pop-ups, and cookie banners.
The features offered by the browser includes automatic tab archiving, password synchronisation, and a reader mode for any webpage. Additionally, the app integrates an AI-powered feature called ‘Browse for me,’ which searches the web and provides a summarised response based on its findings.
The Arc Search app was first released for Mac as a standalone desktop browser; it rolled out for iOS in January and for Windows in April.
