X (formerly known as Twitter) has faced significant backlash after announcing a controversial change to its privacy policy.
On October 16, the X’s Engineering account announced its plans on X and mentioned, “Soon we’ll be launching a change to how the block function works. If your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view them, but they will not be able to engage (like, reply, repost, etc.).”
This new policy announcement didn’t go well with the users. After this, Bluesky received an overwhelmingly positive response on their platform. The Bluesky has reported half a million users joined the platform in 12 hours.
