HP unveiled its Omen 16 Slim gaming laptop at the HP Amplify 2025 conference on Tuesday. The laptop can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor (Intel Arrow Lake) and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. HP has also upgraded its Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop with the same CPU and GPU as the Omen 16 Slim. The brand hasn’t revealed the price and availability of the Omen 16 Slim and Omen Transcend 14.

The HP Omen 16 Slim gaming laptop is thinner and has a portable design compared to the regular Omen 16 gaming laptop. It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. It comes with a 16-inch IPS display with a 2560×1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It offers a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It has a 1080-pixel full HD webcam. It houses a 70Wh battery. It has a dual-speaker setup with DTS:X support.
HP Omen Transcend 14 Key Specifications
The HP Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop can be equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU. It is said to have 25% more power (TGP) than older models. It comes with a 14-inch OLED screen with a 2880 x 1800 resolution and a 71Wh battery. It offers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 and includes a 1080p webcam.
