Red Dead Redemption has an indelible mark on the hearts of console gamers everywhere. After more than 14 years since its debut on PS3 and Xbox 360, the acclaimed game is finally making its way to PC. Now gamers can experience John Marston’s beloved journey on PC.
According to Rockstar Games, both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror counterpart, Undead Nightmare, will be available on PC on October 29.
In partnership with Double Eleven, this new version introduces several PC-specific enhancements, including native 4K resolution at up to 144Hz on compatible hardware. It supports Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors, HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.
The update features also support NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
Rockstar Games also dropped a trailer for Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare.
Details about the PC version of the game and its expansion, including pre-order information, will be announced later this week. Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are presently available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox.
Red Dead Redemption Story
Red Dead Redemption tells the story of an ex-outlaw John Marston who is coerced by the government into hunting down members of his old gang. The story is action-packed and switches from one level to the other in an interesting manner, which develops more excitement for players.
