WhatsApp will soon integrate with other Meta-owned social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
This update will share the user’s WhatsApp status automatically on their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
It is also said that the company is making logging in to multiple Meta apps easier and quicker with a single sign-on to enhance the user experience.
The company also plans to add more shared features across its social media apps and will notify users about the updates when they are launched, as per the company.
Meta Platforms announced in a newsroom post that WhatsApp will be added to its Accounts Centre in the coming months.

The update is optional, so users don’t have to link their accounts if they don’t want to.
However, linking will make it easy for users to use this feature across apps like sharing WhatsApp Status updates directly to Facebook or Instagram statuses without posting them separately.
It will roll out soon globally. However, the rollout might happen gradually in phases.
Once fully available, users will find the option in WhatsApp settings or see it when performing actions across accounts, like re-sharing a status to other Meta apps.
The company will also add some more interactive features such as the ability to manage your avatars, Meta AI stickers and Imagine Me creations in one place across apps.
Keep the privacy of users a priority, WhatsApp messages and calls will remain protected by end-to-end encryption, even after linking it to the Meta Platforms’ Accounts Centre.
