Vodafone Idea (Vi) has rolled out its 5G services in India. The network is currently available in Mumbai. The company will expand its 5G services to Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab in April. Vi has also created a microsite with details about its 5G services and new prepaid and postpaid plans. The site also includes a marketing carousel showcasing the benefits of 5G connectivity. Users can choose their region on the website to check 5G coverage.
Vi’s Prepaid Plans
The prepaid plans for 5G start from Rs 299, which gives 1GB of data per day for 28 days. The company also offers Rs 349 and Rs 365 plans with the same 28-day validity, offering 1.5GB and 2GB of data per day, respectively. The most expensive plan costs Rs 3,599 and provides 2GB of data per day for a full year. All these plans come with unlimited 5G data.
Vi’s Postpaid Plans
Vi also offers postpaid plans for 5G. The Vi Max 451 price is Rs 451 per month and includes 50GB of data. The Vi Max 551 price is Rs 551 and offers 90GB of data. The Vi Max 751 plan costs Rs 751 and offers 150GB of data. The most expensive plan, REDX 1201 price is Rs 1,201 and comes with unlimited data. All these plans also include unlimited 5G data where 5G coverage is available. Vi’s unlimited 5G data is part of a special launch offer and may not last forever. Currently, Vi is the only telecom company in India that offers unlimited 5G data with plans that include less than 2GB of data per day. Airtel and Jio only offer unlimited 5G data in plans with at least 2GB of daily data.
