Apple has rolled out a free repair program for iPhone 14 Plus users. This move is in response to an issue identified in a limited number of iPhone 14 Plus devices.
The phone is experiencing occasional issues with its rear camera, where the rear camera preview does not display.
The program covers iPhone 14 Plus units manufactured from April 2023 to April 2024.
iPhone 14 Plus users can check their eligibility for a free repair by visiting Apple’s support page and entering their device serial number. If you are eligible for the program, Apple will fix the issue within the specified timeframe without charging any amount. The users will get several options to get their iPhones repaired. Users can find an Apple Authorized Service Provider. They can also book an appointment at an Apple Store or contact Apple Support to arrange a mail-in service.
This particular program covers iPhones for three years after the original date of purchase.
Before you go for Apple’s repair program service to repair your device, Apple suggests that if your device has any other issues, like a cracked screen, it needs to be repaired first. Otherwise, additional charges could apply.
If you have already repaired your device and paid for it out of pocket, then you can claim a refund from the company. To claim your refund related to this particular camera issue, users can contact Apple Support.
