Apple has launched the new iPad mini, powered by the A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence.
It features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with IPS technology. Its pixel density is 326 pixels per inch, and the enclosure is recycled Aluminium.
The A17 Pro delivers a major performance boost. It features a faster CPU and GPU, a Neural Engine that’s twice as fast as the previous-generation iPad mini, and supports Apple Intelligence.
The latest iPad mini comes with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which is 4x faster than software-based ray tracing, as well as support for Dynamic Caching and hardware-accelerated mesh shading.

It delivers support for Apple Intelligence. It will work seamlessly across the system, including native apps like Siri, Notes, iMessage, Mail, the Photos app, and even third-party apps installed on the iPad Mini.
It will also come integrated with Image Playground. This allows the device to display synthetic images along with text prompts. It will be available both as a standalone app and as an integrated feature of the iMessage app. Initially, it will include three styles: animation, illustration, and sketch.

It comes with a 12MP wide-back camera and supports Smart HDR 4.
The new iPad mini, with its powerful 16-core Neural Engine, uses AI to automatically identify documents in the Camera app and can use the new True Tone flash to remove shadows.
It features a 12MP Ultra Wide front-facing camera in portrait orientation, with support for Center Stage, which makes sure the user is centered in the frame even if he/she moves.

It supports the Apple Pencil Pro, allowing users to boost their productivity and creativity.
The Apple Pencil Pro detects a user’s squeeze, instantly displaying a tool palette for quick switching between tools, line weights, and colors, all without disrupting the creative flow. When users squeeze, double-touch, or snap to a Smart Shape, a custom haptic engine produces a light tap that confirms the action, offering a natural experience.
The Apple Pencil Pro supports Find My and pairs, charges, and stores via a new magnetic interface on the new iPad Mini. iPad mini also supports Apple Pencil (USB-C), which is suitable for sketching, journaling, and other tasks.
