Google officially confirmed last week that they will be realising Android 16 earlier than usual.
No doubt, the announcement created a lot of buzz, and since then, users have been eagerly awaiting the launch.
Even before the official announcement, rumors about the exact launch date had surfaced, generating excitement among users.
According to Android Headlines, the exact launch date of Android 16 is June 3, 2025.
Android 16 will go live on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) on the same day over-the-air (OTA) will also roll out to the Google Pixel devices.
The main reason behind the earlier launch, as Google explained earlier, is to ship more smartphones pre-loaded with it.
This includes the upcoming Pixel 10 lineup, which is expected to launch in August 2025 or it can Samsung’s next foldables, due to launch in July.
