The iPhone 16e was launched in India earlier this month, and it is now available for purchase.
It runs on iOS 18 and supports dual SIM (Nano + eSIM). It comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness. For durability, it features Apple’s Ceramic Shield.
In India, the iPhone 16e starts at Rs 59,900 for the 128GB model. The 256GB version costs Rs 69,900, while the 512GB model is priced at Rs 89,900. It is available in black and white colors.
People can purchase the device from the Apple website and Apple-authorized resellers. Customers can opt for no-cost EMI options starting at Rs 2,496 per month on the official Apple e-store. Apple authorized reseller Unicorn is offering an instant cashback of Rs 4,000 on select ICICI, SBI, and Kotak Mahindra Bank cards.
Ingram Micro, an authorized distributor in India, is also providing cashback of Rs 4,000 on select ICICI Bank debit and credit cards, as well as Kotak Mahindra Bank and SBI credit cards.
The distributor also announced that users with ICICI Bank credit cards can choose the iPhone for Life offer. As a part of this offer, customers will have to pay 75% of the phone’s cost over 24 months and the balance of 25% in the final month. Additionally, the platform is offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs 6,000 on all purchases.
The iPhone features a single 48MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Selfies and video calls are handled by a 12MP front camera. Instead of a home button with Touch ID, it comes with Face ID sensors for security.
