Samsung’s Galaxy tri-fold phone is in the limelight again. There is a lot of speculation going on regarding the device; no doubt these rumors are fueling excitement among tech enthusiasts.
The device first made the headlines when the news came out that the South Korean company, Samsung – TechInformer, had received a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Leveraging the excitement of the tech enthusiast, it is said that the company plans to launch the device by 2026.
According to the Display Supply Chain Consultant Ross Young’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Samsung’s Galaxy tri-fold phone is likely to launch in 2026. Young said this in response to a user comment on his X post. With the launch of the tri-fold phone, the company will become a potential rival to the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design.
Earlier it was rumored to be launched in 2025. According to the speculations, the device can be launched after the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
It is said to feature a 10-inch display (when unfolded). When folded, it is likely to take on a rectangular shape.
However, there is no official confirmation from the company regarding the launch of the device.
