After introducing a new miniplayer and revamped settings last month, now the Alphabet-owned video streaming platform YouTube is reportedly rolling out redesigned playback speed controls in its Android and iOS apps.
According to the report of 9to5Google, this latest feature is available for YouTube version 19.43 on Android and 19.44 on iOS.
Earlier, Playback Speed opened a long pop-up box that covered the half of the screen and offered preset speed options: 0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, Normal, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, and 2x.
But this new redesigned playback speed is much shorter UI, which appears at the bottom of your screen, making it easier to access.
