Motorola launched the Signature 27 in select global markets on 5 November 2026, priced from EUR 1,599 (about Rs 1,70,000). It is one of the first phones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, and Motorola has confirmed the phone will launch in India later this month. Indian pricing has not been announced yet.

Motorola Signature 27 price and availability

The global price starts at EUR 1,599, which works out to roughly Rs 1,70,000 at current exchange rates. The phone is sold through Motorola’s online store in the markets where it is live. It comes in two colours: Pantone Capulet Olive and Pantone Coal Smoke.

For India, Motorola has a microsite up and has confirmed a launch this month, but it has not given a date or a price. Indian prices for flagships are usually set lower than a straight euro conversion, so treat the Rs 1,70,000 figure as a reference point, not the final tag. Expected price listings online range widely, and none of them come from Motorola.

What stands out

The chip

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is built on a 2nm process. It has two prime cores that peak at 5.01GHz, three performance cores at 4.03GHz and three efficiency cores at 3.74GHz. Motorola is among the first brands to ship it. In India, the iQOO 16 with the same chip is tipped for December.

Cameras and zoom

The 200MP periscope telephoto is the headline camera. Motorola quotes up to 100x digital zoom, though anything past the optical range will be a crop, so real-world results at the far end are worth waiting for in reviews. The main camera uses Sony’s LYT-910 sensor, and there is a separate motion sensor on the back that Motorola calls an action sensor.

Display and battery

Motorola claims 12,000 nits peak brightness on the tandem OLED panel. That is a peak figure for small highlights, not full-screen brightness. The 7,000mAh battery is rated by Motorola for up to 77 hours of use, and the company says a 12-minute charge gives a full day.

Seven years of updates

Motorola promises seven years of both Android upgrades and security patches. That matches the update policy of Samsung and Google flagships, and it is a big change for a brand that used to offer two or three years.

How it fits into the Indian market

The first-generation Motorola Signature launched in India in January 2026. The Signature 27 moves clearly upmarket with its global price, and it will compete with phones like the Oppo Find X10, the upcoming Vivo X500 series and the Xiaomi 18 Pro, which Xiaomi has confirmed for India without a date. If you want a phone now and do not need a flagship, our list of the best phones under Rs 30,000 is a better place to start.

The Signature 27 is not listed for sale in India yet. You can check current Motorola phone prices on Amazon while you wait for the Indian launch.

Sources

Price and specifications are from the global launch details reported by Gadgets 360 and Beebom. We will update this story once Motorola announces Indian pricing and the sale date.
