Design, battery and AI features
The body uses Asus’s Ceraluminum material, a ceramic and aluminium finish the company has used on its premium Zenbooks. The laptop is 1.39cm at its thinnest point and weighs as little as 1.1kg. Colour options are Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral and Zabriskie Beige.
Asus claims up to 33 hours of battery life on a single charge, though that figure will vary a lot by model and usage. The Intel version has a 70Wh battery. Fast charging over USB-C fills the battery to 50 percent in about 30 minutes, according to Asus.
The NPU, the chip block that runs on-device AI tasks, is rated at up to 50 TOPS on the AMD and Intel models and up to 45 TOPS on the Snapdragon model. All three run Windows 11 Home and support Wi-Fi 6E.
Which Zenbook 14 should you pick
The Intel model is the only one with the 3K 120Hz screen, so it makes sense if you edit photos or watch a lot of video. The AMD model gives you a touchscreen with pen support for Rs 11,000 less. The Snapdragon model is the cheapest and is aimed at people who mostly browse, write and attend calls, but check that your work apps run well on Windows on Arm before you buy.
