Apple is reportedly preparing to release its next-generation iPad Air lineup, featuring the powerful M3 chip. Before the official launch, its leaked design has already surfaced online, creating a stir.
According to a well-known tipster Evan Blass, the upcoming iPad Air models will feature the familiar 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes and will be powered by the M3 chipset. If this speculation turns out to be true, it would be an upgrade from the current iPad Air models, which use the M2 chipset.
Earlier it was said that the company would directly jump to the M4 chip in the iPad Air lineup and skip the M3 chip. The source code shared by Blass also mentions the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11, hinting that Apple might launch them alongside the iPad Air (M3). It is said that this update will boost performance by up to 15%, making it ideal for multitasking, video editing, and gaming.
Last year in May, Apple launched the iPad Air with an M2 chip and iPad Pro models with M4 chips at the ‘Let Loose’ event.
