Another first-person shooter, Singularity, developed by Activision-owned Raven Software, is also expected to join Microsoft’s subscription service in the same month, they added.
The tipster also mentioned that another Call of Duty game might join Xbox Game Pass in March, ahead of World at War’s arrival in May. However, the tipster did not specify which Call of Duty title it would be.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 joined the service in July and became the first Call of Duty title on the Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was the first game in the popular military shooter franchise to join Xbox Game Pass right on the day it was released.
In October 2023, Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, which makes games like Call of Duty and World of Warcraft, for $69 billion. After this acquisition, Microsoft started adding games from the Activision Blizzard portfolio to Game Pass.
