Google Docs is rolling out a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature that will allow users to create in-line images and full-bleed cover images using text prompts.
According to the blog post of the tech giant, the new image generation features use Imagen 3. It allows users to create realistic images of people, landscapes, and more with even better detail than before.
Users can create in-line images for several purposes, such as creating a restaurant menu, marketing campaign brief, or promotional flier.

To create in-line photos, users simply need to type a prompt into ‘Create an image,’ and Gemini in Docs will generate the image based on the provided prompt. It also allows users to choose the aspect ratio they want the image to be and choose a style like photography, watercolor, and more.
Users can also customize their document by creating a cover image with the help of Gemini in Docs, which can add flavor to a résumé, stylize an invitation, or personalize a client pitch.
The feature is available for Google Workspace customers with Gemini Business, Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education, Gemini Education Premium, or the Google One AI Premium add-on. The feature is currently limited to the Web.
