Google has sent a notification to some Android devices over the weekend with the title ‘Your Android has new features.’
This informative notification was served through Google Play services as a full-screen notice that described the current improvements for Android devices, as per the reports.
It focuses on eight Android features, explaining where to get each and offering short instructions on usage. Some features include Circle to Search, Google Lens, Google Photos, and more.
They include a special ‘learn more’ link that will lead you to support.google.com for each of the features, according to reports. All of these features have been available for a few months.
Instead of being a static message at the top of the app, users can interact with the notification, which scrolls horizontally so that they can easily browse and discover the new features by swiping left or right.
Every interface had an image that demonstrated a sign that pointed to the feature, and text below the image.
Also, to improve the comprehension of the feature, a section called ‘How to Get Started’ was added that contains information on how to use the feature.
At the very bottom of the screen, Google also gave out information concerning the availability of the feature.
