Google has begun rolling out the stable of the Gemini 2.0 Flash for everyone. This will replace the experimental version that was introduced in December 2024.
As per Google’s blog post, the Gemini app now using Gemini 2.0 Flash. This model offers everyday help with tasks like brainstorming, learning, or writing while delivering fast responses and improved performance across multiple key benchmarks.
In addition to 2.0 Flash, Gemini Advanced users will still have access to a 1M token context window, allowing them to process up to 1,500 pages of file uploads. Users will also have priority access to features like Deep Research and Gems and more.
The company also claims to upgraded image generation in Gemini to the latest version of Imagen 3. This cutting-edge model helps realize user’s imaginative vision by providing more realistic details and textures and more precisely following your instructions, as per the blog post.
2.0 Flash is now rolling out to all users on the Gemini web and mobile app. Earlier it was only available in the web version.
Gemini 1.5 Flash and 1.5 Pro will still be available for the next few weeks, so users can continue their ongoing conversations without interruption.
