Latest Features Of Instagram
Nicknames For Your Love Ones: The social media platform now allows users to customize names across Instagram DMs by adding nicknames for themselves or friends. Nicknames are only visible in your DM chats and will not change your username. Users can change the nicknames at any time and decide who in a chat can change the nickname.
By following these simple steps you can create a nickname.
Tap on the name located at the top of your conversation> tap ‘Nicknames’ and the username of the person in the chat that you want to add a nickname for.

Location Sharing: This feature allows users to share their live location in DMs with their friends and family. Users can coordinate arrival times, and activities or find each other in crowded spaces with the help of these latest features. It is perfect for concerts, outings, or other gatherings with friends. The location can only be shared for one hour, after which it will be turned off by default. Only the people in the group chat or the individual you have shared your location with can see it, and it cannot be forwarded to other chats. An indicator at the top of the chat will remind users that your live location is being shared. Users can stop sharing their location at any time.
Stickers: Sometimes words are not enough to express emotions in a chat, and that’s where stickers come into play. We all love chatting with our friends using stickers and emojis. Keeping users’ preferences and love for stickers in mind, Instagram introduces 17 new sticker packs with over 300 stickers to share in DMs while chatting. Users will also be able to favorite stickers from their chats so that they can reuse stickers shared by friends or created with cutouts.
