Microsoft has announced that soon players will be able to access Xbox games directly from the Xbox App on their Android devices.
This new feature will allow users to purchase and play Xbox games directly from their devices.
Microsoft Xbox President Sarah Bond took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the development.
She wrote, “The court’s ruling to open up Google’s mobile store in the US will allow more choice and flexibility.
“Our mission is to allow more players to play on more devices so we are thrilled to share that starting in November, players will be able to play and purchase Xbox games directly from the Xbox App on Android,” she added.

This comes soon after a US judge ruled out that the Play Store is an unlawful monopoly. In the case of Epic Games vs Google, the US judge ordered Google to allow its contenders to promote their application stores on the Play Store for Android from November 1 and make the in-app purchase (IAP) mechanism optional for developers for a period of three years.
Earlier this year in July, Microsoft announced that they are planning to launch their own game store. It is not yet available. However, it is expected to be different from its Xbox mobile app.
