Apple has announced its year-end chart of the most downloaded apps and games on their App Store in over 35 countries, including India. The chart includes the top free and paid apps and games on the Apple App Store. The Californian brand has also shared the list of its most downloaded apps available through its subscription-based gaming service, Apple Arcade.
WhatsApp, a messaging platform, ranked top in the list of most downloaded free apps in India. Instagram secured the second-highest position on the list. In the gaming section, BGMI was the most downloaded free game for both iPhone and iPad, while Minecraft topped the paid category for both devices.
