OnePlus has confirmed the launch date for the OnePlus 13 series in global markets. As per the announcement by the company, the OnePlus 13 Series will be launched on January 7, 2025, at 9:00 PM IST. Alongside this, the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro will also be unveiled.
It is said that the OnePlus 13R will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, which is set to launch in China next month. OnePlus’ Winter Launch Event will be live-streamed on the company’s official channels. However, the location where the event will take place has not yet been revealed by the company. The company is expected to also unveil the OnePlus 13R along with the OnePlus 13 series at the event.
The OnePlus 13 is confirmed to come in three color options: Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn. The device will be available in India through Amazon. The phone will run OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It will support several AI-powered imaging and note-taking features.
OnePlus 13 Key Specifications (Expected)
It is expected that the OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The global version is expected to come with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. For optics, it is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and another 50MP sensor with a periscope telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom. The selfies and video calls will be handled by a 32MP camera. It is said that the device will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite. The upcoming smartphone will feature a 6,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
