OnePlus has announced a lifetime screen warranty for all devices in response to the increasing green line issues faced by users. This initiative is called the ‘Green Line Worry-Free Solution.’
In the past time, this issue impacted the credibility of the company, the Green Line Worry-Free Solution initiative will help the company regain the trust and confidence of the customers.
Under this initiative, the company will replace the screen free of charge if the device is affected by a green-line issue.
This is applicable to all existing and upcoming smartphones from the company.
The company has also released a small disclaimer. The replacement depends on the availability of parts. Additionally, the company will not replace the screen if the phone has any dents or scratches on the chassis, or any damage that suggests it was dropped previously.
The company says that they have used the PVX-enhanced Edge Bonding Layer in its AMOLED displays.
This aims to enhance durability and protect the display from moisture and oxygen penetration.
