The service will provide access to 500+ live channels and premium Pay TV content with crystal-clear streaming over BSNL’s FTTH network.
Unlike other internet-based TV services, such as JioTV Plus and those offered by Bharti Airtel, which directly deduct data usage from the user’s monthly plan, BSNL’s IFTV services will not deduct data from users’s FTTH packs. It will operate independently of the internet data plan, as per the company.
So, even if you have a poor internet connection, the service won’t be affected and will continue to operate seamlessly. The IFTV is designed to deliver stable, high-quality service and stay unaffected by poor internet connections.
The IFTV service is free of charge for BSNL FTTH users. However, the service is only available for Android TV users. Users can download the BSNL Live TV app from the Play Store.
