Tesla has been generating excitement around its highly anticipated Robotaxi. This is the company’s first fully autonomous vehicle. Earlier, Elon Musk aimed to unveil the self-driving car in August, but the event, titled ‘We, Robot,’ has been rescheduled for October 10 at 7 PM PT in the United States.
However, due to the time zone difference, Indian users will be able to watch it on October 11 at 7:30 AM. It is expected that the ‘We, Robot’ event will be live-streamed on YouTube and X (formerly known as Twitter).

What To Expect
There are a lot of speculations going on regarding the Tesla’s Robotaxi. According to reports, the main highlight people anticipate is a prototype for a new vehicle concept, which will be Tesla’s first since it announced the Cybertruck back in November 2019.
There are also rumors that the Robotaxi will be called ‘Cybercab’ and could be inspired by Tesla’s Cybertruck.
Last year, a Tesla executive described a two-door two-seater Cybertruck-like compact vehicle, featuring sharp edges and a stainless steel finish in Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon Musk.
According to the reports, the vehicle won’t have a steering wheel or pedals. The company could face challenges in the U.S as the design might not meet federal safety standards.
The speculations also suggest that the robotaxis can use a mix of cameras and advanced technology to drive themselves on the roads.
Tesla may also show another new car during the event. Some investors think Musk might introduce a Robovan that can transport a dozen people or serve as an autonomous delivery vehicle.
The event is set to begin with presentations from Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Ashok Elluswamy, the company’s autopilot director. After that, there may be a virtual demonstration to showcase the Robotaxi’s features
