Recently on September 9, 2024, Apple conducted the much-talked-about Apple event ‘Its Glowtime’. The theme of this year’s event centered around the upgraded capabilities and designs for its new phones and other devices. Among the highlights was the Apple AirPods 4, which features significant upgrades and new designs.
The new AirPods 4 lineup includes a brand-new design and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for the AirPods 4, along with a range of new color variants for the AirPods Max.
Apple AirPods 4 Features
Apple has made the AirPods 4 more convenient with a charging case that now offers USB-C charging. This case is over 10 percent smaller in volume than its predecessor. The AirPods 4 with ANC can also charge using an Apple Watch charger or Qi-certified charger, offering up to 30 hours of battery life.
Equipped with the H2 chip, the AirPods 4 provides intelligent audio experiences such as Voice Isolation and Siri Interactions. The H2 chip also enhances gaming by enabling ‘low wireless audio latency’ and excellent voice quality for in-game chats. The Apple AirPods 4 feature a new force sensor on the stem to play or pause media, and to mute or end calls with a quick press.
AirPods Max
Apple’s popular over-ear headphones, AirPods Max, have also received an upgrade. They are now available in five subtle colors, including midnight, starlight, blue, orange, and purple. Additionally, the AirPods Max is now USB-C charging compatible.
The new Apple AirPods 4 will be available with or without the ANC feature. In India, the Apple AirPods 4 is priced at Rs 12,900, while the model with Active Noise Cancellation will cost Rs 17,900. These gadgets have been available for pre-order since the launch and are expected to be available in stores from September 20, 2024, onwards.
